The person in charge of the room is Adrian. As many Cubans, Adrian tried to profit unacceptably from my brother and I. We only stayed one night. The day we arrived, I asked him about transportation options back to Havana. He send me to his colleague across the street. The guy is an usurer. Do not hire him unless you want to pay 30% extra (Adrian gets this commission). Aside from charging more, this guy also lied about no Viazul stoping in town in the mornings... We decided we didn’t want to pay 25CUC and tried to find an independent person to take us back to Havana. After walking around, we found him (his name is Leo and he is great! You can find him at the WiFi park). Leo charged us 15CUC. When we got back to the hostal, I told the owner (Adrian) that the person he had recommended was an usurer and lied. When I told him that Leo was organizing our transportation back he starting telling awful stories about Leo. But Leo has just taken me scuba diving for a very reasonable price and I already trusted him. The owner escalated the stories about Leo from unreliable to getting into a fight with a tourist and going to jail. We didn’t change our mind and stick to Leo. Just before we left, my brother said we needed to walk to the WiFi park to get into the car because Adrian had forbidden Leo to pick us up in front of his house... Anyways, I don’t judge Cubans, they have a ‘Mafia’ (collude between everyone that provides services to tourists) to rip them off. Beware that they lie and make stories to profit from you. Always try to find independent people.

Desde que llegamos a casa a Ana nos ayudaron muchísimo, dándonos diferentes opciones de actividades y recomendaciones de sitios. La casa es fantástica con una gran amplitud y todo súper limpio. Además tienen un jardín trasero muy bonito. Nos hubiéramos quedado unos cuantos días más en Playa Larga y en casa de Ana, sin dudarlo.

Superbe casa ! Anabel est très accueillant et prend le temps de discuter avec vous. Il a de très bons projets pour sa casa et son petit jardin rempli de colibri est três agréable ! Nous recommandons sans hésitation sa casa !

Adrien et Ana nous ont très bien reçu et conseillé lors de notre séjour à Playa larga sur les excursions à faire. Repas et déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Anabel est une cuisinière hors pair. Passionné par les oiseaux endrmiques de cuba Adrien nous a fait une visite guidée de son jardin oû on peuf y voir des colibri et plein d'autres especes. Je recommande sans hésité

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Anabel et son mari, l’accueil était parfait et le couple est accessible et à l’écoute. Si vous aimez la nature et les oiseaux foncez à cette adresse ! Le mari d’Ana nous a fait visiter pendant 3h le Parc de Zapata accessible derrière la maison et nous y a montré de nombreux animaux (donc le plus petit colibri du monde et un Todier de Cuba) ! On recommande à 100% !
