We had a blast! Nothing more to add:) Rustic cabin it was exactly what we were looking for to spend Easter weekend. So quite and peaceful but with the most welcomed guests: donkey and longhorn family checking on us if we are all safe;)), deer, fox rather keeping their distance:) Amazing place to relax in hammock, or with the beautiful view from the porch! Travis and Stephanie provided lots of insights upfront so we knew what to expect and they were replaying immediately to our questions . Thank you for hosting us and we will be back❤️

Great communication with the owner. Cabin as advertised. Rustic, off the beaten path. We had a great night of fires, s’mores making and stargazing. Will be back

This is absolutely an escape from life off the grid experience. My son and I are avid campers and this was awesome! If you go in winter, bring propane and you will be set. Monitor your fuel gauge on your vehicle because the hills will jack w getting an accurate reading. They gave perfect directions, GPS location, instructions on everything to expect. Definitely not for 1st time campers unless you have someone experienced. It’s roughing it out w a shelter option. Perfect for guys like us that enjoy the minimalist nature experiences. My boy and I are pretty advanced campers, we took 3 beginners and they had a blast! Outside of the cold 40° weather, but we like the challenge and bundled up. They were very interested in returning there in the spring. At night, on a clear sky… gorgeous. All of God’s glory is visible with just a look up.

We had a great weekend at the cabin! It was super peaceful and relaxing. The weather was perfect for building a fire and hanging out with the donkeys. Our rescue ex-farm dog had a great time too. We also headed into Kerrville for food and drinks, and then went hiking at Lost Maples. After those trips it was really nice to return to the cabin and unwind for the evening. The sky was cloudless on both nights, so the stars were on full display. Overall it was an amazing weekend, and we left feeling fully recharged. Loved it!!

Great place to get away for a couple days. Definitely read all the instructions they provide. Donkeys were friendly and the stars were amazing.
