自我介绍

We are a family, moved from the busyness of the city of Sydney to a farm in East Gippsland. We are striving to develop a more sustainable lifestyle and hope to become more part of the environmental solution rather than add to the problem. We grow our own vegetables and our contented, free range chooks lay our eggs. Our water is as fresh as it comes, direct from the clouds and captured in our own rainwater tanks. The region boasts a great eclectic music culture among wineries and unusual eating venues and we ourselves have become part of the local music scene - Nick, our resident "multi-instrumentalist/vocalist" has developed his own unique folk-jazz fusion style and Donrita, a pianist, leads several local choirs. Josiah plays sax and sings too and Peter leads the bass section of the choir and plays the CD! When at home we are always pottering and creating a beautiful space for living - Peter's ability to carve out a music studio, office and two man caves/entertainment areas is something worth coming to see for yourself! Our lovely chocolate and merle border colllie, "Spring" will always welcome you with tail wagging - only danger with her is that she might lick you to death! We often have cheerful young "workawayers" who love to experience our home while helping with our diverse projects. Come and collect your own eggs if you like or pull vegetables direct from the garden and fruit direct from our orchard. Stroll around the dams and go see our cattle or make friends with the goats. Or just relax on our deck or verandah with a wine and take in the serene scenery. Our motto: "Gezellig thuis" - "convivially at home". Come and share the hospitality of our home with us.
