It is hard to overstate just how wonderful this property and host are - our stay was absolutely peaceful and easy. The property and amenities are even better than advertised - you feel completely removed from the world, yet, you are within easy driving distance to all of the action in the hill country and downtown Austin. The host is incredibly responsive and thoughtful / > 5 stars, if possible. We had our dog with us, and the property was perfect for them as well. Whether you are traveling with a pet or not, this is THE place to stay in hill country. You won’t regret it.
My family and I were so impressed with is house. The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It sits on about 10 acres. There were wild flowers blooming everywhere. Perfect for family photos. The pool and hot tub have such a serene view. They were both clean and well kept. At night, we would relax in the hot tub under the stars and then we would go down to the fire pit to roast marshmallows. The guest house was very cute, two bedrooms downstairs and two beds upstairs in the loft. The kitchen was well- equipped with everything you need. Especially loved the espresso machine! I would sit out on the covered patio every morning to drink my coffee and listen to the sounds of nature. It only took us about 10 mins to get to Wimberly and 15-20 mins from Dripping Springs. Lots of good restaurants and boutiques nearby. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in the hill country, this is the perfect place. I will definitely be returning and referring to my friends and family.
Awesome place
We really enjoyed our stay — easy for kids, lots of walkable space and pet friendly. Neighbors are not visible but you can hear them. It didn’t bother us. There are two houses, and we initially tried to enter the wrong one — host was immediately responsive when I asked for help. The only sad thing was that the spa heater stopped working early on, but this isn’t exactly uncommon for pools. Would book again.
We loved this place for a weekend end getaway. The kids loved the pool. Lots of great restaurant options nearby.

I loved growing up and living in the hill country. Living in Austin now I decided to go back to the heart of Texas and build a peaceful escape. I enjoy hosting and meeting new people. When it's not occupied you can find me poolside or sitting by the fire. Looking forward to meeting you!
