This location is superbe! Lovely view, Nice house , a lot of space, Beautiful garden, great swimming pool. Authentic area, not touristisc, near the River. Susana is there to support you with tips , she reacts allways, and she organised a boat trip for us. The kitchen is great to cook with the family . We loved the relaxed life style. Not too far from Porto, nature and hikes. We want to come back!

We had an amazing time at Susana's place. The surroundings views from the house are spectacular. I'd recommend hiring a car for going to the shops/exploring. Susana went above and beyond as a host, she was very responsive, friendly and made sure we had everything that we needed during our stay. She arranged transport all around Portugal with a local taxi driver who was a true gentleman. Suzana also helped me arrange a marriage proposal with a trip to a remote island - and I will remember this beautiful trip/day for the rest of my life. The house/garden was clean and well maintained. The kitchen lacked some utensils, and could have been a little better stocked with things like ice trays - but that is really the only piece of negative feedback we had. Everything else was perfect. You will love this place, and I would highly recommend it. Thank you Susana for being so great! We wish you all the best in the future ❤️

Really nice and quiet place in mountains near the Douro river. Rural and scenic surroundings, a large house with a really good garden and pool. We really enjoyed our stay. You have to drive, to see the attractions in the area, do shopping etc. Ideal for combining relaxation and experiences in the area. Our host was very communicative and responsive.

Very helpful host by phone contact. Good information given for local areas. As warned the parking space IS very tight. be mindful to that. teenagers found their beds comfortable but would definitely say the double bed verges on hard rather than firm. the pool is very enjoyable with wonderful views. Easy to use BBQ area. good value enjoyable stay. thankyou.
