Really loved our stay here for my friend’s hen do. Had everything we needed and Mary was always responsive to questions. Beautiful part of the country to visit and lots to visit a short drive away.

Myself, 9 friends, 2 infants and 5 dogs stayed here for a few nights over new years. We had a fantastic time! Everyone fitted around the table and the living spaces accommodated everyone perfectly. Ping pong was a real hit. The location is beautiful, very peaceful. We walked to a local pub from the house and the locals were friendly. Despite the poor weather, we had a wonderful time in this cosy cottage. It was lovely to have the log burner going too. Mary was incredibly quick at responding to messages and was always friendly. Thanks so much for a great getaway Mary.

A beautiful and cosy cottage. The cottage has a nice balance of feeling homely whilst being big enough and well equipped enough for the number of people it sleeps. We were a party of eight adults and two kids and felt we had the right amount of space. It was family friendly. We had a three year old and one year old. We had a cot for the three year old (it was a cot as opposed to a bigger style cotbed, but it was big enough for our three year old); and a travel cot for our 14month old. It also had a stair gate and kids cups, cutlery and plates. The kitchen was really well equipped. We cooked one night and had more than enough implements, dishes etc to make a buffet style dinner. The place is round the corner from several nice looking pubs though only one was open nearby when we were there. A nice pub called the farmers arms. A couple of things we noted - the ceilings are quite low. For some rooms even an average height woman needs to stoop. If you are more than 6ft you might suffer!

Cosy cottage and very helpful host. Excellent value for money and nice walks straight from the door, including two local pubs. We stayed as a group of friends on a very cold weekend, but the house was lovely and warm. It has two nice communal spaces (dining room and living room, both with enough seating for everyone), and a kitchen & utility that have all the basics. Big garden that is secure for the dogs. Bedrooms are small and basic, but have everything you need for a weekend away. Couldn't ask for more for the price!
