Mary is a great host that responded to all our queries before arriving. The wonderful and spacious villa is very authentic, very well equipped and was impeccably clean when we arrived. The swimming pool is very big and set in a beautiful garden. The location is ideal to discover the surroundings…. We would recommend this place for a group from 10-12 people as we had an amazing stay. Thanks again, Mary!

A great location for visiting all the lovely places around, especially Lucca, San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence. The village itself is lovely and just a short walk from the villa with 4 or 5 great restaurants a cafe ice cream shop and a busy little shop where you can get everything you need. We took the owners advise and drove to Pontedera parked and went on the train to Florence which was really cheap and easy. Unfortunately there were lots of flying things so take a good supply of repellent. We had a brilliant time.

What an amazing place; big spacious with everything you could need. There were 5 bathrooms and 3 were ensuite which was fabulous. The bedrooms were a good size and lots of big wardrobe facilities. The kitchen equipment was very good quality and had everything you could need. There were lots of extras activities/toys for young children in the basement. And as for the swimming pool, it was outstanding; large and deep enough for a diving board at one end. There were 12 sun loungers around the pool that had shaded tops if need be. Outside had lots of choice of seating for eating. Chianni centre itself, was very pretty with lots of little restaurants, plus the locals were very friendly and spoke English. Mary was an absolutely lovely lady and extremely helpful and good to chat to. I would unreservedly recommend this place to stay.

A fabulous spacious house with high ceilings, true to origin, but still with modern comfort. It is located by the prettiest of all Tuscan villages. Both house and pool area are better live than the photos suggest. Suits easily 12 adults. We’ll be back 😄
