I stayed at the Cabana Potosi because it had good reviews from birders. However, since Dennis' wife died 10 months ago, I think he is still in grief to take care of the guests. The bird feeders were not stuffed with food. The breakfast was too late at 7:30am and the food was not enough for just one cup of coffee, juice and a small empanada. No fruits or any cooked food. I ended up buying yogurt, juice, papaya and banana from the market to make my own breakfast for early morning. The response for any question was not prompt. Dennis was nice to allow the use of his washer and drier for a small fee. Overall, it is an OK place for tourist, not for birders any more. Wish the best for Dennis.

It was a great place to stay. The room was clean and more than what I expected. He's an awesome person and will easily talk about the sights of El Valle. I just wish I could have stayed there longer. Two weeks wasn't long enough. I used El Valle as my main base in Panama and went to other places from there while keeping the room.

Dennis is a great guy. Thexroom is basic, bring ear plugs the roosters are noisy. when driving in don't pull in too far, leave room to open the gates. I stayed 2 nights.

Dennis is a great host and all around person! The cabin was cozy and clean.
