We caught a few rainy days, but still very much enjoyed our stay. The house provided plenty of space for our family, and many games to play and explore. Plus, the interior design was very tasteful, which made it even more pleasant to stay inside while it was raining. We also explored the surroundings and enjoyed a few walks in close-by beautiful nature parks.

The house has a spectacular setting with an incredible view of the lake. There were also lots of deer stopping by regularly, which made such a picturesque view. We loved the house with its interior design and arty objects - the host was super helpful and quick in helping out. We can fully recommend this place for a relaxing family get-away especially in summer. We as well as our 8 and 10 year old kids loved it.

We were three adults and two children looking for a place to spend the autumn break, something that would be comfortable and also if the weather turned bad, allowing for indoor activities. Marieke's and Kaspers' beautiful house in Högsjö was perfect in this respect, there was plenty of space for adults and children alike, and we could enjoy the comforts of the house as indicated in the description. The best surprise, however, was the surroundings; although Högsjö is a small and fairly unknown village, it is of high architectural and historical interest, and the natural surroundings are great for walking. As winter swimmers, we also appreciated the well-maintained beach within walking distance. Highly recommended.
