This is an absolutely wonderful experience! Great location, building, apartment! Very impressed with the security of the complex-must open gates to enter complex, parking, building and apartment. It is about a 15 minute walk to Blue Star complex where you access RIVERWALK near Guenther House. Also about 15 minute walk is HEB FLORES MARKET Concerning the apartment: it is on the 3 floor of a renovated lumber storage building. Has a wonderful observation deck on the 4 floor-access by yet another code! The open plan apartment is quite large with a fabulous kitchen. (READ Ian’s tutorial about how the appliances operate) All kitchen equipment is top of the line and there is everything that you could need-even has a WELL stocked spice drawer. The bathroom shower has great pressure and adjustable water sprays. I DID have a problem with the sleeping loft-hit my head on the overhead concrete,round ladder rungs. The trains that run directly beside the building are enchanting but Loud.

Absolutely fantastic place! Great location, awesome aesthetics, and a congenial host. I’ve traveled extensively and Ian’s place is one of the best airbnbs I have found in globally. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Ian’s AirBnB will absolutely spoil you for the rest of your Airbnb experience. The place is everything you can imagine and more. The “team” hospitality with Ian and Isabel just absolutely 5-Star! The unit is fully loaded with anything you could possibly need: kitchen supplies/loaded seasonings/cleaning supplies/toiletries, you name it. I received a quick response to anything and everything I needed. Ian was just professional and courteous with each encounter and gave me privacy/space otherwise. The view both in the unit and on deck is a MUST SEE for yourself. The pictures just don’t do it any justice. I’ve also never enjoyed cooking as much as I did in Ian’s fancy kitchen space! I can’t say enough about my stay here for almost 6 months other than I will miss it, and its residents, very much.

Lovely space here. The industrial look with modern applications is perfection. The decorations are also wonderful touches. A 5-minute drive from downtown, and an HEB right down the road. Felt safe at all times despite being alone with the measures of safety provided. The loft is very spacious and comfortable. Loved eating meals on that marble countertop I will never forget. The ladder used to reach the bed goes perfectly straight up/down. For that reason, would not recommend to anybody who may find difficulty in that climb. Also, you have to exit your vehicle to enter the gate code because the keypad is not aligned on the driver's side, but on the passenger's instead. Minor inconveniences but my only real critique is that the place could have been better cleaned. Ian has a clear line of communication. Anytime I had a question, he got back to me right away. Felt at peace here. Would stay again.

This was an amazing place and great host. But even more this is an awesome location. I really enjoyed the art scene in the area. So much so that I even considered getting a place of my own. If you are on the fence I’d say just do it. You won’t regret!
