Sehr schöne Unterkunft, tolle Anlage. Entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen. Alles sauber, Einrichtung nicht mehr Hochglanz aber völlig in Ordnung für eine Ferienwohnung. Frühmorgens Kaffee auf der Veranda mit Blick auf die Marina und türkisfarbenes Wasser - was will man mehr?! Nach vier Tagen kam eine Putzfrau und hat alles gereinigt. Danke dafür! Mario von SUNSAND hat sich um alles gekümmert. Schon die Kommunikation vor der Reise war gut organisiert. Early/Late Check-in aufgrund der Flugzeiten war überhaupt kein Problem. Mario war bei Fragen immer sofort da und hat uns tolle Vorschläge gemacht. Super netter Kontakt. Danke nochmal fürs Barbecue! 😊 Wir hatten eine tolle Woche, haben schöne Strände gesehen. Es empfiehlt sich, eine Taxitour zu machen, so umgeht man den Stress im Linksverkehr und erfährt ein bisschen mehr über Land und Leute. Der Bootsausflug nach Praslin und La Digue war auch atemberaubend schön. Für uns war es der perfekte Urlaub. Besser gehts nicht. Danke Mario!

Great apartment on Eden Island, really spacious, well furnished and spec'd, sizeable terrace and garden area right on the water, photos are a great reflection of the place. All appliances in good working order, cleaning and linen change service was available at no extra cost, we were very nicely attended to in that regard. Highly recommended accommodation, we hope to return some day. Special shout out to Mario, who helped us upon arrival and whenever there was a need - he pro-actively arranged for kayak and paddle board equipment for the apartment, he checked-in on us every few days, he went out of his way to make sure everything was ok, stopped to say hello whenever our paths crossed around the island. And he was always a pleasure to deal with - thanks Mario!

Daniel’s apartment is beautiful, super clean and comfortable and set in the stunning environment of Eden Island with its own private beaches, family game house, bars and supermarkets. As well as being central and well equipped (comes with barbecue and Kayaks), Daniel’s apartment is managed by Mario at Sun and Sand, who is very personable and professional and was very helpful throughout our stay. He organised transfers to and from the airport for us and organising superb day trips (great value / less pricey than those offered by other operators) and giving other great recommendations (what to see and do on the island/ great beaches/ the inside edge on what Mahe has to offer/ what the guide books often don’t cover. Daniel was super accommodating giving us an early check in and late check out around our flight times. We loved our week in Mahe and our stay at Daniel’s place and with the added bonus of the assistance of Mario throughout, made it five star all the way! I highly recommend!

Eden island is known to be one of the better areas around the island of Mahe when it comes to Airbnb as you usually get the best quality and amenities around you. However in our recent Airbnb experience it wasn't a pleasant experience to begin with because of the lack of maintenance in the apartment we stayed in, from the old and dirty furniture and appliances. Some of the kitchenware like plates etc, had live worms under the plates not to mention we had to clean the whole kitchen ourselves as soon as we discovered this unfortunate situation making our arrival just a touch more unpleasant. The bedding and pillows were dirty beyond words. Hair and stains were the smallest example. I contacted Mr Mario who is in charge of showing us the apartment and check in process, Mr Mario was not professional and had a rude tone to his behavior. He also claims and expresses how he owns the apartment and other properties where infact he is just an employee who has insecurities to lie about the fa
