I spent 4 nights at the family home. Immediately I felt right at home! The entire family is sweet, friendly, caring, and inviting. The village is peaceful and beautiful which I was craving after a few weeks in Kathmandu. I was invited to enjoy many of the local activities and felt like I could hang out with the family or do my own thing. I had my own bedroom and bathroom which were private, clean, and super comfy. I was touched by the warmth and kindness at this home and would highly recommend this stay!!

Notre séjour dans la famille de Kabi était exceptionnel. Après l'avoir rencontré comme guide pour l'Annapurna, nous avons été séduits par sa passion pour la culture locale et avons décidé de passer quelques jours dans son homestay. Accueillis dans sa famille, nous avons pu participer à la vie du village, au labour avec des bœufs, à la fabrication du beurre au lait de buffle... Kabi nous a aussi guidés à travers le village, partageant les traditions, l'histoire du village et ses problèmes sociaux. Les repas préparés par Ama étaient délicieux et authentiques. Le logement était très propre et confortable, avec une vue panoramique sur les montagnes. Kabi ont été extrêment attentionnés tout le temps de notre séjour. Pour ceux qui cherchent à vivre laavec la culture népalaise, ce séjour est parfait. Hautement recommandé pour une immersion culturelle authentique.

The view of Barang Village is very beautiful and stunning. All the family members are very warm and welcoming, they also treated me as one of their own. During my stay, not only did I have the chance to help with local farming, they also taught me how to make traditional local dishes and shared a lot about Nepali culture. Ama has very good cooking skills too and she made very delicious meals! Overall, I had the most unforgettable 3 days and 2 nights with this warm Nepalese family during my trip.

This was our highlight of our three week's trip in Nepal! We have lived in Nepal for a year earlier, but we never knew there was a place like this. This is truly a hidden gem. Be sure to go swimming and exploring in the river every day if it's hot! The family is so warm and including, and our children got their first Nepali playmates during our stay. The place is very peaceful, but still there is a lot happening around. A lot of animals, and people who want to chat or show us their way of living. I can't recommend this enough!
