Loved this place! We were in the area for a wedding, but Karah’s place was a perfect little getaway from the big city. It’s tucked away and surrounded by nature which we loved. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and explored! Her two adorable dogs were a plus as well! Everything was neat and tidy, and Karah was super responsive to any messages or inquiries. 😊 would definitely recommend!

The property this Airbnb is on absolutely gorgeous. We saw lots of wildlife just on our drive in and out of the Airbnb. There are lots of games provided for guests to enjoy too! Just note the bed is quite creaky if you’re a toss and turner. The place is very well decorated with lots of privacy curtains. Smart tv is a bonus as well!

So grateful we had the chance to spend some time in retreat in this beautiful space! The apartment is warm and welcoming, and it's so well-stocked for every kind of getaway - a kitchen with all the tools you'll need (and basic ingredients so you don't have to re-buy all the staples), a lovely collection of books and boardgames, and outdoor gear in case you forget anything (hammocks, bug spray, umbrellas, etc.). The surrounding forests are beautiful, the perfect environment for evening walks (on the paths and roads) and sitting by the fire pit in the backyard. And then there's Karah herself - warm, super responsive to any questions, and proactive about making sure we had everything we needed, like checking in on whether we had enough toilet paper and coffee partway through our longer stay. She also has great recommendations for what to do while you're here, so don't skip her guidebook! Our personal favorites were Rare Bird Emporium and The Crown (:

We enjoyed our stay at The Hideout. If you’re looking for a quiet and secluded place to “get away from it all,” this is the place! Karah was very responsive and helpful.
