FabCafe Hida is located in the heart of Hida-Furukawa, a place surrounded by broad-leaved trees, where craftsmanship is alive and well. The facility has a cafe, a workshop, and a total of 3 guest rooms in a renovated old private house. Please see "Other Special Notes" below for plan details. *The plans posted on Airbnb are different from the plans and fees posted on the FabCafe Hida Web. There are 3 shared Japanese-style rooms. Each room can be shared by up to 4 people. A total of 15 people can stay.

寝る部屋からトイレ、シャワー室まで距離があるのが、冬場は厄介な部分がありますが、概ね快適で過ごしやすかったです。

Hidden among the homes, koi and shops in Hida, is the maker friendly Fab Cafe where we made hand drawn then laser burned sake cups with our choice of sake. Close to everything in the village and nestled within a lovely mountain town-we took in the sights by foot and sampled local delicious foods. The room is generous and Japanese style futons with plenty of space to spread out and relax. A great side trip on our way to Takayama Matsuri.

At FabCafe Hida you have the great chance to stay at a traditional (refurbished) Japanese house. I stayed here in February, and as usually with these old houses, it was rather a bit chilly around the rooms. So maybe spring might be a little better. I enjoyed the quiet of the place and the woodworking. The village itself is picturesque. Thank you!

【Introducing FabCafe Hida】
FabCafe Hida is located in the center of Hida Furukawa, where craftsmanship is still alive, and is a historic building that has been renovated from an old private house built more than 100 years ago that has been loved as a "treasure" of the town since the Edo period. This is a complex facility where you can enjoy delicious coffee and food made with Hida ingredients, a workshop where you can make things, and an inn.
We have a digital woodworking workshop, which is a renovated former sake brewery with woodworking equipment and digital equipment. It is a creative base where you can have a comprehensive experience, including activities to learn about local nature, industry, and culture.

Get off at Hida Furukawa station via JR express wide view Hida or JR Takayama line. 7 min. walk from the station.

274 min. via Chuo Express way from Tokyo
245 min. via Meishin Express way/ Tokai Hokuriku Express way from Osaka
Parking:
There is no parking space at FabCafe hida.
Please use free-of-charge parking lots available in Hida City Hall.
