Trullo Atena is as beautiful - if not more so than the pictures. It’s a quiet and peaceful location but is also walkable to Alberobello with its abundance of restaurants. It’s a gorgeous town full of Trullo houses, you’d be hard pressed not to completely fall in love with it. The Trullo is cool and contemporary, but comfortable at the same time. Cleanliness was excellent and the outdoor kitchen is well stocked. Although not heated, the pool is a lovely temperature - especially mid heatwave! We hired a car, which I recommend. While here we visited Capitolo which has lots of lovely beach clubs and beaches, for daytime or evening dining. One we loved was Agavi, and is about 30 mins from the Trullo. We travelled with three children between 7 and 13, all who loved the water park near Agavi beach club which is also 30 mins away. In Alberobello, we all loved Bottega Del Gelato for the most incredible gelato, and right opposite Cico is a fabulous wine bar. Can’t wait to return!

Trullo Atena is a truly special place and the team at Puglia Paradise made our stay exceptional. I can’t recommend this place and Puglia paradise enough. From the beauty of the trullo and surrounds, to the local recommendations and helpful tips from our angel Denise, it was a holiday we will daydream about for years to come. We would love to come back one day! The trullo looks even better than in the photos, has everything you could possibly need and is located near many beautiful towns of northern Puglia.
