Great place to stay!

We have stayed at Golton in The Gap previously, and, as before, everything about this house is perfect. Location is great, bedrooms are at the high end for a rental property, the kitchen is excellent and the lounge spacious and suitable for family stays. The house also has a very good laundry with good equipment, an important consideration sometimes with small kids. It is well located for access to all the things there are to do in the Grampians. My grandchildren have named the cockies and other birds that visit each night on the verandah! Basically, a great place to stay which delivers on its promise.

Roslyn’s house is impeccably clean, and to top it off, the kitchen was well-stocked and well-organized! Roslyn is kind and quick to respond. Every morning and evening, we were visited by cockatoos on the porch, which thrilled the kids. The location of the house is close to the center of Halls Gap, and kangaroos can be seen nearby. We even spotted some emus in the national park, which is only a 10-minute drive away. The view of the mountains from the living room is simply breathtaking!

This is a wonderful place to stay whilst you explore the Grampians. We loved the location and the house and felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in. On our first night there was an unexpected power outage in the area and since we were travelling with two toddlers it made us feel a bit uneasy. Roslyn made us feel better since she proactively contacted us to let us know the details of the power outage and also letting us know where to find torches etc in the house. This made us feel like we were at the home of a friend and that we had support if needed rather than being a few 100 kms away from home in a stranger's house. The house is great - well maintained and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Good entertainment unit/DVDs etc. The online handbook/guide for guests was also very useful - receiving it before our trip helped us to plan and to have a clearer understanding of the place. House is close to town and all amenities. Would highly recommend to others visiting Grampian
