We werden gastvrij ontvangen, ookal waren we later dan verwacht. De omgeving is mooi, op nog geen 100 meter van de oceaan, met een kustpad. En Lisboa is goed te bereiken met de trein vanaf Sintra.

Alva was kind, helpful and lovely from the moment we arrived. The house has a stunning view across the road from the sea and it was a dream stay. Would definitely recommend to stay here and I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Praia das Macas I was a little surprised when I arrived to find that the apartment is on the edge of a busy road. It's not what I imagined and being sensitive to car noise I was annoyed at first. Apart from that the stay was great. The apartment is facing the sea, a beach is within walking distance, as well as small shops and a market every morning. We felt very free to be able to do everything on foot. Prai de macas was calm at this time (April), we appreciated it. We were able to travel around by car (Sintra, Lisbon) and even by walking (beaches, hikes from home!) Alva welcomed us well and was very friendly. It is also flexible and responsive. Sad to have to leave after a week Obrigado!

What a wonderful spot! Alva was kind when we were running a bit late due to car trouble. She was super friendly and kind and explained everything well in the check in process. The place was nice and spacious and very clean! Cozy bed and lots of nice touches like a dehumidifier and towel dryer. Walkable to a quaint little area. The town was kind of sleepy but very peaceful. The location across from the ocean could not have been better. Oh, and good wifi that kept us working easily all week!
