Good host and a great place to stay. Suitable for family and friends. Booked it for a family for my cousin marriage when no hotels were available in Kolenchery. They liked it overall.

Homely place with caring hosts. Authentic kerala style food which you will relish. Quiet and well maintained and safe property. Was worth it.

The accomodation is spacious & very private, set in lovely surroundings. The host was travelling so we had to communicate via What’s App (tricky if you have no internet). Luckily our driver was able to help, as we struggled to find the location, arriving as we did, after dark. The host’s father was very obliging, but spoke no English, so we had to communicate via What’s App to ask for extra towels etc as there were not enough for each guest when we arrived. The large double room had a/c, the single room did not, just a fan (it was very hot when we arrived). The bathroom was very clean (new?). In fact we were happy with the cleanliness of all rooms, on the whole. The breakfast was a lovely southern Indian puttu (rice & coconut) with bananas (which you mash into it) & coffee/ tea - there was plenty to eat. If you want an authentic Indian experience, this is the place for you!

Amal and his parents supported us a lot , even his father came to receive us out of his home at around 1 AM when my flight got delayed and also suggested the way to the accommodation instantly and clarified the issues the Drivers were facing. Further, the location was much beautiful and the nature of his parents was very good. Thanks Amal
