The host was very responsive to messages, especially when I thought that my arrival might be delayed. The unit is in an ideal location if you want to visit the University of Aveiro for a week or two, since it is an easy walk away. It is also an easy walk downtown, and somewhat surprisingly there is a very good Italian restaurant extremely close by. The unit was clean and well ventilated and everything that I tried worked. I did not end up using the kitchen, since my outside dining arrangements were so good. There were only a few niggles. (1) The bedroom window gives a view of a barren interior courtyard, unlike the view from the living room which is great. (2) The doors between rooms and also the bedroom wardrobe door stick, possibly due to expansion of the wood, so could do with some sanding back and refinishing. (3) There is a dance school immediately next door and you can hear the practice music and some of the instruction during opening hours, which extend until about 9 pm.

O apartamento é muito funcional e muito bem localizado! De fato, ele fica a 5 min a pé da Universidade de Aveiro e 5 min também a pé do centro da cidade. Além disso, tem supermercado e padaria a 2 min do apartamento! O local é tranquilo e agradável. Os proprietários sempre estiveram disponíveis nas comunicações! Portanto, eu recomendo muito este apartamento, sem restrições. Em outra oportunidade este apartamento, ficará na minha lista de prioridades de escolha!

We loved staying in Belinda’s and Leandro’s charming and convenient garden apartment. The host provided excellent suggestions so we could enjoy the beautiful town. A great location near the Uni and old town. We were able to walk everywhere, to see the sights and enjoy delicious local cuisine. We sipped our coffee watching the sunrise and children playing in the park. We felt at home in the spotless rooms and appreciated the conveniences to adjust room temperature, wash clothes, make meals, and watch TV. Obrigada!
