Schönes Bungalow. Leider etwas abgelegen. Super Check-in - wurden von Norbert am Pier abgeholt und er hat uns sehr geholfen - vielen Dank! Möbel im Schlafzimmer waren leider verstaubt.

I hate to say too much nice about this place because I want to come back. It was wonderful. I was met at boat pier so finding house was no problem. Location is easy to find. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, except for the birds. The location was a short walk to beaches, many restaurants and Thai massage. Yard was full of flowers and I enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch in the morning.

Ihr findet euch in einer recht einfach zusammengezimmerten Unterkunft, heißt = 0 Schalldämmung. Seit ihr lärmempfindlich (vorbeifahrende Roller z. Bsp.) bringt Ohrstöpsel mit. Das Haus ist recht geräumig, Badausstattung (WC, Dusche, Waschbecken) sind recht neu. Teilweise große moderne Schiebefenster mit eingebauten Insektenschutz, Strand sowie Einkaufs- und Essenmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Matratze im großen Schlafzimmer ist ein klein wenig weich. Das Sofa im Wohnbereich geht so, hat aber mit Sicherheit schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. WLAN wird über einen Funkrouter (True) bereitgestellt, vor allem wenn die Insel voll ist, habt ihr dann ein sehr schlechtes WLAN. Was mich gestört hat: - schäbige Möbel in den Schlafzimmern (Schränke bzw. deren Reste, Bettkästen) - knochenharte (alte?) Matratzen im kleinen Schlafzimmer - man blickt von der Terrasse auf die Stelzen eines Hauses welches mit auf dem Grundstück steht, vielleicht 4-5 Meter vor der eigenen Nase.

Nice cottage, very quiet location and very close to the beach (few mins walk), and lots of place to eat and have sunset drinks. We really appreciate the filtered water drinking tap, and the living area and bathrooms see to have been refurbished recently. Bedroom furniture old and could do with updating. Perfect for a chilled vacation with everything you need walking distance. Koh Mak is lovely and peaceful and you have everything you need in this are. The one thing we would said is that although we were warned by the man who checked us in, that there were sand flies (on the beach) we hadn’t realised how bad they are - so make sure you come to the island prepared!!!

We really enjoyed the peace and space at the Preveena’s White Cottage. Situated a 2 minute walk from the beach and nearest restaurants and away from the bar music, it was in an ideal position for us. The refurbished kitchen and 2 bathrooms were clean and easy to use and the newly fitted tinted windows and door worked well. Wi-fi was very efficient. The kitchen could be a little under resourced if there were 4 adults but it was fine for a couple. The large living room dining room was much appreciated, though we spent most of our time in the house on the veranda cooled by a fan. Norbert, the caretaker was a star and a font of all information related to the island. Thank you, Norbert! All in all, a great place to stay if you want to dip in and out of the bar scene and value privacy. It would also be a good rental for a family with young children. If you enjoy wine…bring it with you there is little, if any to buy on the island, except in the up market resort restaurants!
