This house is lovely and quiet and well located near the sea front. However, a number of things marred the experience a bit for us reflecting the fact that we were traveling with a toddler and baby. In short, it's not particularly well set up if you have a toddler e.g. the cooker and what is on top is easily reachable for little hands, no stairgate etc. The heating is a bit unconventional in being a log fire which you then switch a circulation mechanism to heat radiators and there are a number of electric heaters around the place. Perhaps the log fire is cosy if just adults, but again if you have little ones you can't really use it as they could easily touch the burning hot fire stove. But it's also a bit weird why they don't just have Central heating (those indoor stoves might look nice but they are a nightmare for indoor air pollution). To be fair the description is clear there is no Stairgate, so you can't really pull the apartment up on that. The final niggle was the communication and check in time weren't great. 4pm is very late (check out is 10am so unclear why they need 6hrs to clean) but it just means of you stay here you only really get the evening of the first day, I'd encourage them to rethink that as if you arrive in the daytime you are effectively homeless for a while. The hot water also comes out roasting hot, so again if you have little ones beware. Also we called to see if an earlier check in was possible and we're told someone would call back but didn't hear and called back over an hour later (they said they were waiting on house keeping). So in sum a great place for adults looking for a quiet well located place, but if you have toddlers it's a bit tricky and you may want to consider elsewhere. Check in and communication could be improved.

This was the perfect place to stay, a home away from home. On a quiet road close to the beach and town with a lovely private back garden and everything you'd need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Great semi-detached, quiet, lovely location and really nice feel to the house. Cleaning could have been a little more thorough and professional, but overall, highly recommend.

My husband, 3 year old and I stayed here for a week. The house is very central to Ryde, easy walking distance into town and the lovely beach. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen if you wanted to self cater. There is a washing machine with soap provided which was very handy. The parking is on the road just round the corner, permits were provided and we never had trouble parking. I would highly recommend this house to a small family or couple who want centrally located accommodation.
