During my month-long stay at this apartment near Itaewon station exit 3, I found it to be a convenient spot for remote work, offering surprising spaciousness with two bedrooms. Despite basic furnishings, the apartment was surprisingly light-filled despite its basement location. Located close to Itaewon's nightlife yet tucked away in a quiet street, it also offers easy access to the trendy Hannam-dong neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk away. However, amenities like cafes and restaurants require a bit of a walk to reach. While maintenance issues were promptly addressed, the noisy refrigerator was an ongoing annoyance. Despite these minor inconveniences, this apartment is a decent option for an extended stay, especially for those who enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Itaewon or the more sophisticated Hannam.

Minjun was a great and responsive host! The place was close to the subway and had so many things to do around it!

So there was some nice things and some bad things about the place. The location was good and we could go everywhere we needed to be pretty quickly (prepare to work your legs on the slope everytime you go back though). Restaurant and subway nearby. The price was good and we were happy at first but it changed quickly. As it was rain season we discovered some leakes right above one of the beds in one room. The tenant was quick about it and called for repairs (even changed the furnitures and all to help during our absence) only to discover it was not fixed at all. Big repairs had to be done and once again they were done pretty quickly. The sink in the bathroom was leaking all over the floor everytime you had to use it pretty inconvenient if you did not have shoes on, the only answer we got to this was "sorry", meaning it won't be fixed. The bathroom was not clean at all when we first moved (the rest of the house was pretty clean) and there was a lot of mold in the cornes, we had to buy a brush and clean everything with a lot of bleach (which means it could have been done before we came). And all summer there was some pretty big bugs in the bathroom and not your small little spider (I did not mind those) but big unidentified jumping and pretty unkillable things (if you don't mind these I guess it's not a big deal). The house was not too hot as it was partially underground so keeping it fresh was easy. The house looked pretty charming in the pictures but it looks nothing like this anymore, no pictures or rugs in the rooms, no oven (which was disappointed) yes it was not listed in the appliances but it's a bit misleading. Overall it still was interresting considering the location, the price and the host was nice and always answered quickly but even though circumstantial we had quite a lot of inconveniences.

Minjun's place was amazing. Me and my husband had a wonderful time there. The place is easy to find, plenty of restaurants and markets and it's close to the subways station. We would definitelycome back. Thank you Minjun!

좋은 점은 각종 가재도구및 가전제품이 잘 갖추어져 있는 것입니다. 커피포트, 미니오븐, 전자렌지, 가스렌지, 큰 세탁기와 큰 냉장고, 전기밥통, 에어컨 등입니다. 침대가 크고 편안하며 소파도 좋았습니다. 화장지, 샴푸, 비누, 세탁 세제등이 구비되어 있습니다. 인터넷도 좋은 편입니다. 집 안이 이국적인 분위기로 데코되어 있고, 방2개와 거실이 있어 쓰기에 편했습니다. 집이 지하에 있어서 층간 소음 걱정 없이 활동할 수 있었습니다. 주변에는 이슬람 사원, 이슬람 학교 등이 있고 다양한 외국 음식 맛집이 있습니다. 전철역에서 걸어오는 거리가 꽤 길고(10분 이상) 언덕길을 오르는 것이어서 힘들지만 운동이 되었습니다. 외국 식품등을 파는 수퍼마켓이 있고, 외국인들과 인사를 나누며 살 수 있는 새로운 느낌의 거리입니다. 하지만 아무래도 지하인지라 통풍이 잘 안 되어 여름에는 먼지와 습기, 벌레가 많았습니다. 집이 전체적으로 어두웠습니다. 겨울에는 지하쪽에 있는 방은 따뜻해서 좋았는데 창이 있는 거실과 화장실은 우풍이 셌습니다. 요리를 할 수 있는 양념 등은 준비되어 있지 않고 처음에는 제습기가 고장나서 어려움이 많았습니다. 주변의 거리가 쓰레기 등으로 지저분하고 가까운 곳에 마트가 없어 식재료를 사려면 15분 이상을 걸어야 합니다. 하지만 편의점 등은 가까이 있습니다. 전체적으로 좋은 집이긴 하지만 역시 지하이고 오래된 집이어서 불편함이 있었습니다. 여름보다는 겨울에 더 사용하기 편한 집입니다. 감사합니다.
