This is a very well equipped, turnkey Airbnb that’s perfect if you are looking for a home away from home. Kitchen has everything you need to feel comfortable, bathrooms are modern, clean and have good showers; there’s nothing really missing. Despite a few other reviewers noting the location next to an employee parking lot, I never noticed any noise or issues. There is a nearby train that rumbles by a couple times a day but it’s more a vibration than an irritating noise - not an issue unless very very sensitive. Location is fine - if you know Houston, you’re aware of what you’re getting into in that area. If you’re not from town - just know that it’s quite narrow streets, and there’s nowhere particularly interesting to walk without crossing some major intersections, so be sure to have a car and be willing to drive 5 minutes every time you want to leave! That’s just Houston though - there’s some great spots nearby if you’re willing to venture out.

Everything was great about the house except the noise level was not clearly communicated to us before we made a decision to stay there. The employees of the restaurant across the street use a parking lot which is the back yard of the house. There were many cars there so no one is monitoring whether non-employees park there and the noise level in the parking lot was very loud and woke us while sleeping.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was easy to locate and good middle ground location so made the perfect home base. Across the street is a restaurant and bar which we ended up going to 3 times. Once for brunch, once for an impromptu date night while my son stayed "home," and a to go order for some late night snacks while we played a couple of board games we brought. The house is well insulated and once that door closes, you really can't hear much. We felt perfectly safe and right at home. The layout of the house is so nice, everyone had their space while we still had the coziness we'd expect from spending time together. I didn't use the back yard but it would have been a nice spot to just have some coffee. We drove our truck which I was worried would block the sidewalk some - so I contacted the host to ask if it was going to be an issue. He was very quick to respond and I'm happy to report that it was fine. Plenty of kitchen stuff if you wanted to cook at home.

It was a repeat stay at hunter's place. Still great! He has even made some upgrades since we were last there. The location is great, the convenience can't be beat, and the place itself is awesome. Cherry on top: hunter is communicative and quick to act if any support is needed.
