Our stay at the house was an extremely disappointing experience. We respected the check-in time and arrived at 3:30 p.m. to the house. Upon entering the house, it smelled and was dirty. The beds were still unmade with dirty and dusty linens. The bathrooms were dirty and the trash cans were overflowing with dirty toilet paper from the previous tenants. The couches and curtains were visibly full of dust. The upstairs couches were also very dirty as if they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. We immediately contacted the owner who stated the housekeeper was behind schedule because she had other houses to clean. We grabbed our things and decided to go explore to give the cleaning lady time and space to clean the house. As we were leaving, we ran into the housekeeper, who informed us that the owner never told her that there would be new tenants and that the house had to be cleaned until now. She stated the owner had just called her to come clean it. The housekeeper assured us that she would clean the house as best she could and leave it ready for when we returned from the beach. Upon returning the house smelled clean and we felt better about staying there. However, as we were getting ready to set our luggage down, we noticed that the bedsheets smelled as if they had been stored away and not washed. The sheets in the room on the second floor were dirty and when we shook them we noticed that there was mouse poop. By this time, it was already late at night and the only thing we wanted to do was rest. The next morning, we let the owner know about the rat poop situation. He assured us that the sheets would be changed. While we were on the beach, the owner sent us a text saying that they had already changed the sheets in the rooms for clean ones. Upon arriving at the house, we noticed that this was not true. The beds had the same dirty sheets. When we let the owner know, he replied by stating there were clean sheets in the dryer. We changed the sheets for the "clean" ones that he mentioned but even those were dirty as if they had not been properly washed. We again communicated this to the owner who no longer replied, not even to apologize. We were really disappointed with our stay in this house. We did not cancel the reservation because it was during the July 4th weekend and there were no reservations at any other locations available. But if it had been possible we would have canceled from the first day we arrived and saw the dirty house. The house is very nice but we would never stay there again.

Nice spot. Big roomy and cozy. Good location. Really quiet! Sunset and morning views were great on the Terrance. We’d stay again. Thanks!

Fun place, didn’t really care for JJ’s cantina, however the resorts and city life are only 20 ish minutes away!

Beautiful home! Was a bit disappointed that we didn't have access to a sandy beach and we had to travel to a public beach location. Also, were left without water for a night because the water trucks don't run at night. Make sure the water tank is filled completely when you first arrive. I can guarantee the tank wasn't full upon our arrival because we ran out of water on the second day. We had to buy water jugs at a convenient store to fill restrooms.
