My boyfriend, my cat and I stayed for two months at Rasha's place! The apartment has lovely decor, the furniture is well-configurated, and the location itself is hard to beat. It's close to the subway which is a plus if, like me, you're going into Manhattan frequently. And of course having Prospect Park nearby was amazing--we took long walks there almost every day :) Rasha is a superb host and a wonderful person. She kept in close touch with us during our stay and made us feel very welcomed. The other tenants in the apartment building could be a little loud at inconvenient times (yelling, doors slamming etc late at night) but then again, it's NYC and not really within anyone one person's control. That was the only issue we had while staying here, and even then it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Rasha's place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine introduction to a vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood :)

We stayed at Rasha’s place for almost 2 months, and enjoyed a lot our time there. Rasha was really kind and responsive whenever we texted her. The location of the place is perfect. It’s very close to Prospect Park (5 mins walking), as well as the subway station (20 mins to Manhattan). We also enjoyed the neighborhood a lot. It’s a nice neighborhood that resembles Brooklyn, and you are close to a lot of nice bars, and restaurants. The studio is super cozy. It has everything you need for a longer stay. The only drawback is that the mattress was old and not comfortable, however Rasha promised to buy a new one soon. The building is a classic NY old building, which means the plumbing was not always perfectly working. The people we met in the building were all super nice and welcoming. However, if you are not used to people hanging around in front of the building, which is part of Brooklyn’s character, it can be a bit intimidating at the beginning. We would love to come back again :)

Rasha’s place was perfect for my boyfriend and I while we apartment hunted. It was our safe haven in the midst of busy Manhattan days and had everything we needed including a kitchen and plenty of room in the living room. Rasha was lovely and very responsive and we appreciated that her cousin lived next door in case we needed any assistance.

Rasha’s place felt like home immediately. I’m glad we got to meet her and we’re able to stay at the apartment long enough to get a feel for the neighborhood. It’s an easy and fast commute everywhere, and a two minutes walk into prospect park, to get affordable, but great food, etc. The peaceful apartment has everything one would need and we would definitely stay there again or move to the neighborhood. ;)

Romantico e grazioso appartamentino in un contesto autentico, comodo, a pochi passi dalla metro e da Prospect Park, in un quartiere caraibico non gentrificato. Rasha è una host molto simpatica e gentile, comunicativa e disponibile. Per chi non ha particolari esigenze igieniche e preferisce una realtà viva a uno scenario turistico spersonalizzato, welcome to Brooklyn!
