We stayed for 10 days in this beautiful home and everything was perfect! Great location and Bryan the caretaker was so helpful! We hope to come back again soon.

This is a beautiful property. I stayed with my family for 10 days and everyone wished they could have stayed longer. Pros: 1.) The house had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable like plenty of towels, washer/dryer, rice cooker, pots/pans/dishes/cutlery (also has some beach equipment: bodyboards & beach chairs) 2.) The property had a long driveway that made us feel secluded from the neighbors. 3.)The guest house was also great because we were able to split our large group and not have everyone together all the time. 4.) Great location on the North Shore. Close to Foodland, foodtrucks, Polynesian center, and Kahlua Ranch. The house, host, and cleaning crew were all great/attentive/helpful. I would highly recommend this property. Cons: 1. The beach behind the property... - had a lot of rocks in the shallow parts on the shore and were hard to see even in daylight hours. - seemed to have a lot of jelly fish(3 people in our group were stung) 2. The screen doors weren't able to shut properly (broken) so flies kept coming into the house. 3. Not the host or property's fault, but the house can be hard to find initially because MAPS doesn't route you to the house correctly (the check-in crew does give really good instructions on how to get to the house-for those who read instructions)

This home is in a great location and is laid out quite nicely if you have a large family. We did have a few issues that we discussed with the managers of the home, overcame them and went about our vacation. Time is too valuable. The view is spectacular and the location to all that the north shore has to offer is perfect. Our Greeter was very pleasant and they did communicate with us while we were there.

We rented this Airbnb for our outdoor beach wedding for its beautiful house and outdoor space. However our experience was far from that… what seemed to be a luxurious beautiful house..... was a house that needed attention. I wish I could attach pictures to expose the actual conditions of the house. the house was poorly maintained creating dangerous maintenance issues we had to fix a lot of the issues ourselves there was evidence of insect infestation including insects fecal matter and dirt throughout the house Every single screen door in the home was either broken and/or did not roll and open or the screen was completely busted out exposing everyone to vicious mosquitoes. Given that it is still summer and extremely hot… The home is unbearably hot without the doors open and no AC. Every single screen door in the home was either broken and did not roll and open or the screen was completely busted out exposing everyone to vicious mosquitoes.   Some even had black duck tape to try to keep the door from falling out. My poor mother was covered in mosquito bites, even all over her face! Grass was completely dead for our outdoor wedding event, we rented a home and event space advertised with bright green grass and well maintained. We especially requested the grass be watered via Airbnb message 1 month prior to our booking and were assured the home would be ready, but instead no one is maintaining the house, no one is fixing the broken sprinkler system to water the grass ( yet advertising photos indicate a beautiful green lawn on air bnb), The management company even sent us the receipt for the estimated cost of repairing the sprinkler system one month prior and said the owners refused to pay to have it fixed. Does anyone else have a problem with that? Near complete lack of any assistance from the local host Lance to address any of our complaints.  Surprised to see such a great previous review regarding Lance… In fact the only thing he said he would do is get a fresh propane tank which he delivered 2 hours after our family dinner was scheduled. He was rude and never even met in person to address our concerns. We were directed to reach out to Lance with any concerns we had for the house. Lance was unresponsive until he finally called and in a 7 minute Conversation he told me that the management company was unwilling to pay for repairs and that he could do nothing to help me besides refill the propane tank - which he left on the front steps without speaking to me in person and without installing the tank himself. Given this experience and feeling hopeless, that the property management company was refusing to properly maintain the home and the guy supposed to help fix the home is refusing to help…we tried to make the best of a bad situation for our wedding and fix what we could ourselves.    We cleaned (my bridesmaids were sweeping and mopping the floor - bucket full of dirty mop water and insect fecal matter found in the master bedroom), we hammered nails that were sticking out of the deck boards, and did what we had to to ensure a happy wedding day. Missing steps down to the beach leaving a 3ft drop-off at the bottom. We requested they be finished 1 month prior and was assured they would be ready - yet upon arrival Sep 9 I was told they had never intended to fix them and that they had misled us in the previous air bnb message. If only they had told us they never intended to fix the steps we could’ve prepared for Plan B. My husband built steps for me to walk down to the beach. Broken electrical features causing blow fuses  and inability to properly light the backyard for our event,  broken outside lighting, electrical issues with stove, black tape all over the home holding fixtures in place.   Part of my frustration is that one month prior to our event I visually inspected the backyard from the public beach and took note of the dead grass, and the lack of steps leading all the way to the sand...   my fiancé contacted the management company at that time one month prior to request these issues be fixed.   We were assured by Michelle at the management company that the home would you ready for us. Which it was not.   I requested a site inspection with Lance and was promised a virtual site inspection via text message and video which never was received.  I requested a site inspection prior to our move-in and this was never addressed either by Lance.   Your local host Lance was horribly unresponsive and made it feel like I had to beg him to get a response on anything.  The management company for the most part was very helpful, it seems unfortunate they are based in California and not Hawaii to see the real condition of the home.  Y You advertise this Airbnb as an event space… But you failed to maintain basic safety such as nails consistently protruding a half an inch out of the decking where someone could easily puncture their foot and end up in the emergency room.     This space was advertised as an event space… Yet they knew the sprinkler system was broken and the grass was dying-and we asked them to water the grass one month prior-and nothing was done.   This was advertised as a home… Yet the home is not secure from insect infestation and mosquitoes.    Everyone in my group would agree that we left the home in far better condition than it was when we arrived… I have taken a virtual video walk-through documenting the cleanliness of the house upon our move out.  When you spend nearly $12,000 on a 5 day rental you expect a little more…
