We loved our stay at Ed’s lovely place, and we definitely plan on coming back! Ed is an extremely friendly, responsive host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a good experience. He gave us great local restaurant recommendations, made sure we knew where the bikes we were kept and that we could use them (there are great bike paths close by!), and kept the bird feeder next to the cottage well stocked (which allowed us to do some fun bird watching from the comfy rocking chairs on the deck). The location was great for exploring Old Town Mandeville, and also a short drive away from the Causeway, so we could easily get across the lake to experience New Orleans. We would highly recommend staying here!!

this is our 4th time here... feels like home! we love the space and privacy and decor. Fully functional kitchen with all needed appliances and utensils. Charming in every way. Well done!

I loved staying at the orange cottage. It was spacious, immaculate, and cozy on the cold nights during my visit. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts. The bed was very comfortable. The cottage is centrally located in Old Mandeville. There are interesting shops and restaurants and the area is quiet at night. I hope to stay again.
