The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is clean and serene. Ms Belinda and Ruby were great during our stay. The extra touch to detail was very much appreciated. My family enjoyed our stay and we will visit again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Maks Resort. The environnement is serene, right by the river side. It is a nice spot to relax for a few days. The pictures do not do the place justice, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Our highlights: - The staff was very kind, accomodating and helpful. They were happy to answer our questions and queries. - Bedding was comfortable - We had a river view with our own balcony and it was stunning - The AC made the heat much more bearable - Hot water in the shower with good pressure With a few efforts on cleaning (sheets, breakfast service) it will fully deserve its 5 stars. They offer boat tours that start right from the pier in front of the resort but we did not try it. It seems worth it if you are a group of 8 so you can split the cost. They also have a restaurant on site, but we did not try it ourselves. They host group retreats, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere. The groups are asked to be quiet at 10pm. I would stay here again!

Rebecca’s place is great for family’s with children and groups hangout. You can easily order a boat ride from the resort. To take you to other islands nearby. We will definitely be there next time!

I have to say this was a bad experience. It started when I was told the WiFi “is finish” even though it was on the listing. You will assume that a water front property will have proper fumigation, not the room I was giving as it was full of mosquitoes. There were workers working on the premises which wasn’t that bad. What broke my hopes for a peaceful vacation was been awakened early in the morning by a worker working right in front of my door. I mean didn’t anyone care that there was a guest around. At this point I decided to cut my loses and checkout. The managers called after I left to move me to another room. But between the noise, mosquitoes, WiFi and having to wait an hour to be served at the lounge, it was hard to give it another go.
