Enttäuschend!!! Bei der Ankunft ist sofort der schlechte Zustand der Unterkunft aufgefallen. Der Putz bröckelt von allen Wänden, Schimmel an den Amaturen von Bad und Küche, Wäsche nicht sauber, eine Schlafzimmertür schließt nicht, der Bodenbelag löst sich und der Boden war mit Schmutz und Insekten verdreckt. Nach sofortigem Telefonat mit Langebaan Holidayhomes wurde lediglich ein Putztrupp geschickt, der den Boden gewischt hat. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, die Problematik wäre bekannt. Wieso wird das Objekt dann für 140 Euro die Nacht vermietet und nicht die Mängel behoben? Langebaan Holidayhomes verlangt zu Beginn bei der Schlüsselübergabe eine Kaution in Höhe von 1000R. Nun wurde UNS (!) die Reinigung der Bettwäsche berechnet, die wir 10 Minuten nach betreten des Objekts bemängelt haben. Der Bertrag wurde einfach von der Kaution abgezogen. Fazit: Absolut nicht weiterzuempfehlen, da das eine absolute Frechheit ist!

The host is Langebaan Holiday Cottages who have no clue on how to provide a guest experience, insist you collect the keys from their office, sign additional contracts, hand over your credit card details, and pay an additional R750 'deposit' which has still not been refunded, check in at 4 pm, check out by 10am, and then be subjected to constant noise and abuse by the owner who lives next door and did not even provide a flask of hot water during loadshedding and the most basic of amenities such as salt, pepper, tea, coffee, shampoo or toilet paper. You will need to buy all of this, have your peace disrupted by his five-crew gardening service and the constant barrage of visitors who will park you in and talk loudly outside your door. THERE IS NO PRIVACY. The cottage is on the boardwalk and you cannot leave doors and windows open as you run back to the kitchen. a horrid, overpriced experience in a greedy town that exploits its tourists. Today the cottage is R1000 more than what I paid!
