Primitiv hytte i skønne omgivelser. Ideelt hvis ferien skal være bæredygtig og byde på smukke omgivelser, men man skal være parat til den originale norske hytteoplevelse, hvis det skal være en success. Hytten er veludstyret og knivene i køkkenet er skarpe! Værten var meget imødekommende og løsningsparat når der opstod udfordringer og fremstod tillidsfuld. Vi havde en god uge.

Kjempefin hytte! Dette ble en veldig avslappende tur for meg om min kjæreste. Stille og rolig. Veldig greit med nøkkelboksen!

Torgeir and Joy’s place is superb for really relaxing and winding down. It’s wonderfully situated in Norway in beautiful surroundings. The lake just outside really makes it a beautiful view and the mountains of Norway are not far away from view either. During the a clear night we were able to see the Milky Way with the naked eye as well as many shooting stars. As said it’s a great spot for winding down. The place is spacious for a cabin with all the amenities that you could hope for and need. Getting water from the lake isn’t an issue and there is a Coop Prix on the road up to the cabin in Bagn where you can stock up on big bottles of drinking water if the lake isn’t for you. The lake does have fish in there, I caught a beautiful brown trout, so if that’s your thing then this place is perfect. The internet works perfectly as well.

The moment you arrive at this wonderful cabin you wish you could stay way longer than you have booked for. It’s located in beautiful nature right at the lake at 900m up the mountain. Views from the porch and from inside the cabin are priceless! Especially this time with all the fall colors!As described its a traditional and basic Norwegian cabin, inc an outhouse toilet, no running water & electricity from a solar panel. Normally we camp out in the wild so to us it’s was very deluxe! I think it’s so great to live for a while without all the things that come so easy to us and normal by flipping a switch. So getting your water to drink & wash from the lake, making a fire to get warm, heat up water to to your dishes: I love those rituals. The cabin itself is very cozy, lovely and homely decorated, we felt very welcome! Very well equipped kitchen with stove and oven, cook up your favorite dinner & enjoy it by candlelight. Beds comfy! We had sunny weather but very hard wind so after a walk round the lake it was very relaxing to read by the fire on the couch. Electricity is plenty enough to charge your phones & use lights. (Although we really liked just using candles for light) It must be a great place in winter too or hot summer days.. must return! Communication with both hosts was easy, quick & they were very friendly & nice! Thank you for having us Torgeir & Joy! Recommend!
