What a beautiful house! 2 families with 5 kids & 3 dogs and not one of us was disappointed. The teenagers set up their PlayStation in the play room and chilled out on the sofa bed and the younger kids explored from Morning till night. They all absolutely loved the ping pong and dart board and the spacious garden was great as we were lucky with mostly dry weather. The bedrooms made it so easy for everyone to be with who they wanted. The kitchen was great for us all to eat together and we played many of games round the table. The dogs were able to run free in the garden and the dog quarters were such a good wee area - especially as we had an excitable puppy with us so she could have some time outs in there. We enjoyed a walk up to see some cows & calves and loved seeing the different stages of strawberry growing from outside the tunnels. We will most definitely be back - hopefully one summer to fully enjoy the surroundings Thank you Nicola for hosting such a lovely home

We had a lovely family stay at Nicola’s farmhouse.I tend to try and avoid dog friendly places as a couple of us are very allergic - it was SO clean we weren’t troubled at all. It is very homely, modern, warm and well stocked with everything we needed. Thank you : )

Fantastic stay, in beautiful surroundings! The perfect place for the whole family. The house was exactly as how was described, our very own labyrinth, just when you thought you had seen every room and new one would appear! the ideal setting for kids big and small, with an enclosed garden with great space and play equipment, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make you feel right at home. The house was warm and cozy, and the wood burning fire in the living room was perfect for some chill and games night fun! Having the opportunity to create our own little place of peace, wandering around the farm, seeing the new calves and all that nature had to offer, was perfect for the entire family. Nicola was the perfect host, efficient in responses to any queries, and available during our stay, with a lovely little care package upon arrival! We would definitely recommend a stay at Carmichael Farm House, we hope to return in the future! 😊

Great fun stay at Nicola’s farmhouse for our annual family gathering. The house is full of different rooms. Just when we thought we had found them all, another door would reveal more spaces. Warm everywhere in the house and the log burner made the sitting room even more cosy.
