We were staying with a large group for a family wedding. The accommodation was ideal for our needs and size of group. The host was welcoming and were able to agree to a late check in when we had problems on check out with collecting cars from the wedding venue. We ate at the adjoining pub, The Peppered Pig, everyone enjoyed their meals and no one had to drive home :) The only comment I would make is we could not find any instructions, for instance arrangements for waste and recycling, and we did not want to have to call the host. Overall if we were going to do this again I would choose to stay here.

Trying to contact glen through this app was very frustrating. We only got an inital response then nothing after that. This meant that we had to do some investigating and realised that The pub next door must have information about the house. The staff at the pub were very helpful and arranged check in and check out. It was explained to us that the house had been left in a poor state by the previous occupants and the hot tub wasn’t ready for our arrival, half of our money was refunded. The house itself was beautiful. But we were dissapointed as the garden furniture was rickety and unsafe to use. The bbq was filthy and we were unable to use this much to our disappointment. The house was dusty and dirty in areas, there were items and dirt under beds, an eaten pepperoni under the sofa. The cooker was dirty and barely any hand soap in the bathrooms. On the second day the hot tub had a fault code so we couldn’t use it but our money was refunded by the lovely staff at the pub. Dissapointed.

The house was a perfect size for our wedding party of 12. We were disappointed that although the hot tub was advertised and had to be reserved, a fee of £75 was chargeable. The garden of the house was scruffy and unkempt. The dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes and the oven required cleaning. As an AirBNB owner, I was very disappointed.

Lovely house for a weekend away with friends. The kitchen space is so social which opens out to the gardens. The bedrooms were nice with very comfy beds. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The showers had good pressure. The hot tub was enjoyed by everyone, as was the Sunday roast at the Peppered Pig. Some items in the house could do with a little attention or being replaced, for example the garden furniture. Overall it’s a great space at great value and we would definitely want to return again. Glen is quick to respond by text, but not so much on this app.

9 of us stayed here for a 50th birthday weekend. The house was just what we needed, plenty of space, everything we needed. We had a great time, would recommend and would return again.
