We loved Lynn and Althea's place so much that this was our 2nd trip in 2 years to The Therapy Cabins. This time we brought friends and shared Cabins #1 and #2. Our kids had a blast swimming all day in the enclosed "pool" and around beautiful shallow flats all around the dock. We saw puffer fish, lion fish and mistook a live conch for a hermit crab, in addition to several hermit crabs. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises! Like last year, Althea and Emeley cooked up 2 great dinners for our family. We did stewed chicken and dukunu like last year, but this year also had them cook the steamed snapper in banana leaves after our friends returned from a Mayan ruins tour. Top notch food & the lemon tarts...Mmmm! Both of our families had a magical time. Lynn and Althea treated us like family. We consider them like family too. Even though we were sad to leave paradise, we were more sad to leave good friends. Lynn, Althea, Emeley, Eugene, Ernest & Christian, we love you & hope to see you again soon!

Our second stay at Lynn and Althea’s place was super peaceful and relaxing, just what we were looking for! Emely’s cooking is amazing- make sure you ask to have them cook all of your meals for you!! They built a swimming pool out of the ocean, so you can feel safe swimming in the ocean without being bugged by critters. We can’t wait to be back again! I do recommend bringing bug spray for the island, and a rain coat for the boat ride over to the island.

I highly recommend staying on this private island instead of on the main Belize city locations! There is privacy, beauty, great food, and wonderful service here. The food was delicious and all staff was accommodating to any needs we had. I highly recommend kayaking and fishing. Bring earplugs as the island rooster loves to start waking up the island before the sun rises. The island dogs, Bella and Bruno, loved to paddle board with us! I was relaxed the entire vacation! Thank you again for everything.

This place is so wonderful… do not hesitate to book! The pictures and prior reviews simply do not do it justice. My husband and I kept adding days to our stay and still didn’t want to leave after 7 nights. The staff is very hospitable and catered to everything we asked for during our stay. We spent a few days on property and a few days exploring other islands that Eugene boated us to. The days we stayed on the property were serene and peaceful as we enjoyed the dock, views, hammocks, kayaking, and fishing. Emily’s meals were delicious and Christian’s service was impeccable. The cabins were well equipped and comfortable and we felt we were at a 5 star resort with the service provided. We definitely plan on returning!

Had a wonderful stay at at Therapy cabins. Such a peaceful spot with a great staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a central location to see Belize in a relaxed environment.
