Our stay at South Cotrage was fantastic. Beautiful place, very clean and so comfortable. Jackie and David have thought of everything and had some lovely touches. When we arrived the fire was set, lovely music playing, fresh bread on the chopping board and the fridge full of goodies for breakfast. The location is peaceful and quiet in a beautiful property. We could not fault our stay. If you are going to Castlemaine this stay is a must. Thanks so very much to our hosts.

We were very fortunate to stay in Stone edge south cottage for 5 nights. We were surrounded with Autumn colour outside with nights cool enough to enjoy the open fire indoors. The cottage was private, quiet, comfortable and furnished with class, with attention to detail evident throughout. We were not disappointed with this last minute find and would recommend wholeheartedly a stay here and as a base in Castlemaine to explore the local region.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area. Close to Castlemaine but tucked away in its own little pocket if bush land paradise. Jackie is also the friendliest host I’ve ever met, and when you’re first entering the home, you realise how much thought and care has been put into everything in the house. A perfect stay. We had a great time at Jacky's place. It is a lovely location on a farm, beautifully quiet and comfortable, with lots of bird life and plants. the house is beautifully furnished with unique old, exotic and new pieces and the bathroom in the South Cottage is - ingenious! Jacky equipped the kitchen larder with bread, cheese, eggs, mushrooms and fruit and we ate it all! Very generous, very warm and truly unique. I had an issue with my health a few days before and this tranquil place was just what I needed to recover. Castlemaine is a few km outside the farm, and has some lovely restaurants (Try "Wild") and cafes (Austrian coffee house at the Mill). There is lots to see and do, from the goldfields to Mt lexander which has granite boulders and grand views. Thank you Jacky, we will be back C

Beautiful property inside & out. Everything you need has been provided, & pleasantly surprised with the supplied extras. You will not find better, highly recommend.
