Very accommodating for my children as they traveled to Arkansas to view the eclipse. Their stay was a birthday gift to my son and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Belle Rose Cottage is one of the most beautiful places that I have had the privilege to spend time. There is a quiet and earthy peace about it. You wake gently to the sun streaming over the peaks of the mountains or to the clouds covering the mountain and the fog comes on little cat feet. The days are often glorious as the meadow outside your door is filled with butterflies, the buzzing of bees, the azure blue of warbling bluebirds, the soft “zees” of flocks of waxwings, the “tea tea tea” of towhees, and the melody of the meadowlarks. A bull elk graces all and appears silently as a prayer from the forest to rub the velvet from his antlers on a pine at the edge of the meadow. Each day the pond changes with the weather and fills with eggs and then nymphs of salamanders. The evening falls on the darkening water of the little pond with the first calls of chorus frogs and darkness brings a cacophony of song. Owls call to one another and you sleep in softness, healed by nature’s beauty.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property (4th time staying at a property owned by Charly & Alice). The environment is relaxing, comfortable & worth the price paid. It is pretty secluded so there is not much phone service but that can be a good thing when trying to disconnect. There are numerous good trails nearby. An amazing sunrise visible from the kitchen window is a perk! We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful and cozy cottage, was like stepping back in time. With all up to date amenities. Beautiful area and wildlife viewing. Best stocked kitchen ever. We felt so at home each evening by the fire after a full day of Jeep riding and adventuring through the surrounding areas. Lots of activities year round if you love the outdoors. Great place for couples or families. Highly recommend!

What a great place to stay!!!!!!! Charles & Alice are great people!!!!! Beautiful place, VERY CLEAN, cozy, great fireplace, very quite, nice fire pit, comfortable beds and very ease to access. 2nd time and will be staying there for many years to come. You will be disappointed at all when you stay here!!!!!!
