The location is wonderful. Good swimming, paddling, boating options. Only minutes from Kilbear beaches and opportunities for exploring. The cottage itself has a nice sunroom but otherwise is quite rustic and needing some upgrades.

Beautiful location. Nice cottage with great deck. Nice deep water swimming off dock. Host was very helpful and responsive.

What an amazing week we spent at Steffen’s cottage. Go there for an authentic muskoka cottage experience, the cottage and location surpassed our expectations, you will feel at home there as this place well equipped and thoughtfully decorated, it does not feel like a vacation rental which I liked. It’s quite easy to find your way to the cottage by boat. Access to Georgian bay is great if you like boating in open waters and travelling to far places. Stephen was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!

This cottage is a little slice of heaven here on earth. Great, well protected location, that allows you to get away from the city and appreciate the little things in life.

As advertised! Great summer get away! Lots of amenities to keep everyone entertained. Lovely island cottage! Would definitely recommend a visit to Rose Island.
