We had the best time staying at Mataye's and Romke's Airbnb! The location was unbeatable, we loved the decor, and our favorite memories from our trip include drinking coffee on the stoop and watching people pass by. It was amazing getting the chance to hear from Mataye about the history of the house! We would definitely book again.

Mat and Romke’s place was truly fabulous. As other reviews have mentioned, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was old in the best ways and very very charming, we feel so fortunate to have found this property. The location is superb, right in the middle of everything but quiet at night. It’s spacious, great temperature and airflow, has a separate front seating room area which was very nice since we’re traveling with a toddler and was able to hang out after she went to sleep. Great spot for people watching during the day. The bed was very comfortable, even the extra bed that was prepared for our daughter was very comfy, I happily slept there myself. Mat was very friendly and welcoming, he also told us about the local market that was happening. Answered any questions I had and great communication. We had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to Amsterdam!
