Nos encantó el jardín, es súper bonito y nos sentimos en otro mundo muy conectados con la naturaleza; la habitación tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días tranquilos de descanso, la cama es deliciosa y existe mucho silencio por lo que duermes increíble. El jardinero estuvo súper pendiente de nuestra llegada y salida, súper amable y aunque son 20 minutos al centro en coche vale la pena totalmente. Seguro que regresaremos, muchas gracias!

. Mario and Roselia are amazing hosts. They are accommodating and swift with their communication. The property and grounds are so beautiful. it is about 12 minutes from El Centro and a short walk to the Markey and restaurants. I love this location.

This is a lovely and fascinating place to stay with the most stunning garden. The apartment has a lot of quirks, but it's worth it for the beautiful space and grounds. Things to know: - Due to the natural wood used in construction (which give it such a cool atmosphere), it was challenging to keep the kitchen clean and bugs often found their way in through holes in the door. The hosts offered a cleaning service including clean sheets and towels roughly every week which was great. - Make sure to bring bug spray as there are lots of mosquitos outside. Surprisingly we never got them in the apartment. - The kitchen is very minimal (two-burner stove, tiny sink, microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge) and not well-stocked in terms of implements, so is best for people who don't plan on cooking extensively. There are a couple of good restaurants in the town. - Wifi coverage is great all over the grounds, and fast enough for video calls etc., but would occasionally cut out for a couple of minutes at a time. Didn't cause major problems for my husband who was working remotely. - It is an underground converted wine cellar, which keeps it nice and cool during the heat of the day, but it also lacks airflow and can sometimes feel rather musty even though it was the dry season. A space heater and fan are included which helped. Not very much natural light. - The garden is absolutely lush and amazing and there are spots to sit and work or relax. Wonderful to explore and spend time with the friendly, quiet dog. - The grounds are shared with two other apartments and Fidel the groundskeeper, who is always around to help. He brought us a garrafón of water when we asked. - The bed is comfortable and the shower has great water pressure and hot water. - It is a quick walk to the center of town where there is a grocery store, a market every Tues, Fri & Sat, and a surprisingly delicious Indian restaurant. The buses stop right across from the church, any of which will take you into the center of Oaxaca city in 20-30 minutes ("Centro" goes down past Llano park and "Central" goes further west to the Mercado de Abastos). Overall we had a very lovely time and would love to go back. Thanks Mario and Roselia for being such welcoming hosts!
