Hi - I'm Fi, a friendly and outgoing London born lady now relocated within an idyllic country home which I’m happy to open up to guests. I live here with my cat Boo and my resident flock of chickens, but as I have family and friends in London, I do travel back and forth a fair bit so I figure it's better to have my lovely home appreciated by others at those time rather than stand empty. I'm a fully qualified horticulturist, self employed as a garden designer and planting specialist. I now have my own garden which gradually I am turning into my own private Eden - I love the idea of growing my own produce and cooking with organic ingredients and you will find my kitchen stocked with preserves I make from my countryside foraging! I enjoy good food and going out to eat but I am a pretty accomplished cook myself as you will see from my kitchen set up. After finally becoming the owner of my dream home, I want to offer this complete space as a rental to those who appreciate all the special little aesthetic accents - it's a really unique house with oodles of natural charm and quirky pieces that I've put together over time. Its like a little curiosity shop of all the things that my magpie eyes have spied :) It's been decorated with pale carpets upstairs and I'm looking for guests who will take care of the house and protect what I've created. In terms of the guest experience, I aim to provide as many included extras as I can: although I offer personal storage space, my possessions are around for guests to enjoy - my kitchen is stocked with home made preserves on the shelves and my own baked bread in the freezer, my bathroom has a myriad of toiletries and styling appliances- all for guests to help themselves whilst staying. I supply a cupboard full of towels and use only quality, high thread count bed linen and there are scented candles in most rooms. My aim is to create the best stay possible and to be as transparent as possible about the rental so do take the time to read my listing fully before booking as it's not nice to get negative feedback about elements already covered in my description :) I do appreciate getting private feedback so if there is anything I can do better or differently do let me know!
