Carly was very responsive with our questions, and very prompt to answer our one request to turn up the thermostat. The good: Great location and quiet. Washer and dryer facilities! Full bathroom on each floor. The floors and furniture were clean. The not so good: The kitchen is sparse for cooking; the electric stove has burners that do not fit into the drip pans, thus making any pan on the stove tilted, which could be a burn or fire hazard. The pillows on the beds need to be replaced - they are flat. The place is “cluttered” with plants and knick knacks in every room, which need a serious dusting, including the ceiling fan in the living room. The beds in the basement are hard! Not sure about the other rooms… Overall, the place was comfortable enough for my family, and would stay here again… I just wish it had more pots and pans and a cookie sheet or two…

Thermastat was locked so could not adjust the temparture in the house. It was very hot it the house and did have drizzle etc so could not open or leave windows open.
The house was as described for the most part. We did have trouble getting in because the lockbox was jammed with keys from a previous vacationer. Natalie, the home owner, came over right away with extra keys. House was very clean except for the coffee pot. It had not been washed by the previous folks as is requested. It was also requested to not leave cushions outside but we found them that way so left as is. The second floor bedrooms are warm despite the thermostat set at 67. The thermostat is locked and cannot be lowered as described in the description. As someone else had stated there are lots of knick knacks which was not a big deal. Location is great. Easy access to trails, Lake Wazee, and a great restaurant. We would definitely consider staying again!
The house is a bit outdated and needs some maintenance work. The host checks the security cameras often which is slightly off-putting when she is aware that you live in the house across the street.
