Great stay in Tuscany. Although we did have a big confusion upon arrival, as the address indicated is not the actual location of the “Castello”, and what you actually rent is an apartment inside the house, that counts several other apartments. The pictures can be misleading. Apart from that, it is was very confortable, with an enjoyable swimming pool and garden where you can do BBQ. The location is fantastic, right in between sun flower fields and vineyards. Very close to Sienna and other small towns. The tennis court is actually not on-sight, but 5min drive to the actual wine estate, where we did a wine tour - great wines, but not very professional guide and the tasting were fast, if you are looking for more in-depth wine experience and education you perhaps want to visit other wine estates. We would still very much recommend this authentic housing option for a stay in Tuscany!

I never leave poor reviews but I feel like I have no choice but to let everyone know that the Airbnb in these photos is NOT the Airbnb you will be staying in. The photos make this look like one property. But the inside photos you see are actually located 10 minutes from where the rest of the compound is. This is actually in an apartment away from the winery, pool, tennis court shown, etc. In addition we were told that we would be met with a welcome drink by the main host Andrea. But instead we were met by a very rude and impatient woman who did not make us feel welcome or give us anything to drink. She seemed very annoyed at our confusion that we now had to leave and drive to another location. This is not an honestly depicted Airbnb! If I’m the photos we’re not misleading and we booked this place it wouldn’t have been a bad experience. But because of what we expected due to the photos, we were highly disappointed.

If you’re looking for a magical place to stay in Tuscany this is the spot. We had some issues with hot water and communications with the host but other than that it was amazing! Make sure to experience a wine tasting and tour!

Beautiful location in the heart of Tuscany. We appreciated the wine at checkin. The bedrooms were large and nicely appointed and the bathrooms are beautifully renovated with extras such as nice toiletries. It was confusing that we were provided a different address to checkin rather than just meet at the property. We finally found it and it was a lovely vineyard wine store. Please note this is a small apartment in a larger building. We were lucky to be the only ones there. But when the housekeeper was in the next apartment the noises could be heard. During a busier season this could be disturbing. We appreciated the firewood being delivered as well. It made our stay nice and cozy. The listing is accurate but please note there is no living room for communal gathering. Just a kitchen with a dining table. I have suggested to the owners to provide sofas to make it more comfortable to gather. The tables outside were plastic and not matching the quality of the beautiful property.

We were a New York City family of 3 adults and two children. Our stay was 6 days. Andrea and Armando were exceptional hosts! This is a large, professionally managed property with many different apartment villas. They made excellent restaurant, activity, and wine tasting recommendations. They responded quickly and politely to every inquiry (we have a thread of 50 emails before and during our trip). We even met the owner of the winery who was super kind and accommodating. They speak perfect English. Before arrival, they provided a high chair and infant crib at no charge. I cannot thank them enough for how hospitable and kind they were. The villas are very nice and rustic. We had a large fridge, coffee machine (with ground coffee at no charge), dishwasher, access to free laundry, and parking. Modern fixtures were available. Showers were hot and functional. Didn’t notice any serious bugs, which is impressive for wine country. Plates and silverware were also on site. You can request housekeeping when you need it. Wine tasting is a must. They have delicious Chianti Classico. Also recommend the meat and cheese tasting. Beyond their delicious wines, they recommended other wineries, which were wonderful. We were there for a week and frequented recommended casual restaurants La Barca (5 minute drive) and Pizzeria Napolitana [sp] (13 minute drive). A wonderful recommendation was Laconda del Tartufo. There is a small supermarket 8 mins away by car, which has everything you need for breakfast, snacks, bottled water, etc. They also booked a truffle hunt on the premises—one of the most memorable experiences our kids had. Siena is 23 mins by car. We had to take a taxi one time and they scheduled everything for us. Highly recommend staying at this location. We loved it.
