The place is very nice, considerably larger than needed. And Aurelio is the best host we've ever had at any of the dozens of Airbnb's where we've stayed over the past 10+ years. He goes out of his way to help a guest find places to go and how to get there. He doesn't wait for you to ask a question, but rather seeks ways to help every day. There are a couple of negatives. First, if you rent a car there is a zone in the city center where the apartment is where driving is not allowed without a permit costing $5/day. It is possible to purchase online but it is a very difficult process and on our last day it was impossible so we may get a big fine. Another problem is that anytime a guest leaves the apartment the keys must be taken out of a plug that turns all lights off. The keys must be taken with you to get back in the building on the street level. So, if one person goes out, those left behind will have no lights. Aurelio has a workaround for this if needed. Still a GREAT place to stay.

Aurelio is one of the best hosts I’ve encountered with a lovely home. High ceilings, spacious, airy, great location (coffee shop 2min walk away), & clean. Well equipped for our family (2 adults and 2 tots), especially the toys in living room, playground recommendation, a bath tub, and large pack & play. Great communication throughout which eased my worries with traveling to a new city with kids. So grateful for the suggestions and support of Aurelio; you’re in good hands if you book this place.

Aurelio is a super organized host always answering any request. Always answering fast to any request. Many lists with maps were sent prior our arrival day so we could plan our visit of Palermo and around. He was very kind to arrange access to the apartment so we could leave our luggages before checking in. The apartment is in a well renovated building and was supplied with everything needed and more… His recommendations were very helpful. The restaurant right at the door was good and very useful after a long day of visiting nice Palermo city. Looking forward to go back. Thank you Aurelio.
