Straight away on our arrival, this pal was even more than I’d expected. The hosts were super communicative even before arrival and when we arrived John was straight out to meet us whilst he was fining the lawn its first cut of the year! We felt at home and relaxed from e get go and we would definitely recommend this place to all…. I had a good few chats with John the host and he made us feel welcome and relaxed straight away…. We went for an amazing 12km walk on Sunday with a perfectly place pub at half way to have a pint ready for the second half of the beautiful walk alongside the river Derwent and theMatlock steam railway . We went for a lovely meal at the local restaurant in Matlock Bath called The seafood cave which also was superb. Fast service and really fresh produce. This Resteraunt had a live kitchen and that also was a great experience. We will 100% be booking again as soon as possible…. Great place, great host, and amazing surroundings…. Xx

Picturesque surroundings, quiet. Would recommend for a weekend get away. If returning to Matlock would definitely stay again.

I love it in Snitterton, so peaceful and quiet and the forge is perfect for me and my dog

Perfect location for dog walks with it just being surrounded by fields and also great for a nice walk to the pub for a few drinks and dinner
