Beautiful self contained cottages on a great seafront location. Cottages and grounds are well maintained.

Upon arrival, I messaged Roxanne for check in instructions and although she was a bit slow to respond (understandably, due to personal reasons), Alicia was an angel for the entire stay! She accommodated us to an early check-in, gave us directions, and was a treat to have for any issues we had. Sadly, we were upset to find Roxanne's restaurant was closed, which was our reason for booking Bogles. She did mention it on the website prior to our arrival (our fault for not rechecking). Despite this, we were given a great breakfast every day by Alicia. Our place was rather quaint. We did not use much of the outdoor space as there were frequent bugs and mosquitos (it is outdoors), so we remained inside or by the common lounge area with beach chairs. Our bathroom was a nightmare. It had a small opening which allowed some bugs/lizards to crawl through. Twice, we found roaches. This stay is perfect for people who typically camp, but for OUR tastes, it was a bit uncomfortable.

The only reason we didn’t give this place 5 stars was because the post was a little misleading. The restaurant on site is closed Mon/Tues. Since our trip was Mon - Weds, we probably would have picked another spot since there isn’t much in the area to walk to. (The restaurant website does show the hours, but we unfortunately did not check that before booking on Airbnb). However, breakfast was still served and was very good. The bus worked out fine for us getting around. Make sure you rent a car or are comfortable with the bus before booking. Also, the beach is 60 ft away but you probably won’t want to hangout there much. It is quite dirty and narrow. Otherwise the room, view, staff and everything else was fantastic.

This was my third time staying at Bogles Round House Cottages and I loved it. The quiet location is wonderful. Breakfast each morning is delicious. And we loved dining at the restaurant in the evenings.

Great quiet location outside of Hillsboro with beautiful views. Breakfast and Dinner at the Round house are wonderful and delicious. Be aware that you will need a car or take the bus or taxi to get into Hillsboro or Tyrell Bay for lunch, groceries, or dinner on Sunday. Buses were easy to use. Highly recommend the hike down to Petite Anse for a day at a beautiful beach. Snorkeling was good- we saw an octopus! Tim did have his beach restaurant open when we visited but you needed to contact him ahead of time.
