Great house with views to the beach. House was clean and had all the amenities required, could happily have stayed for longer, great home away from home

Barb was kind to us and allowed us to stay at her airbnb without a cleaner preparing the property first. We negotiated the price, and Barb really saved us the headache of having nowhere to stay at the last minute. We believe the property needs a deep clean though as it didn't seem to have been properly cleaned in a while. I don't know whether there is an issue with the cleaner or something but the amount of dirt around the skirting, in the bathrooms and on the rugs would suggest it hasn't been deep cleaned in a while. The oven doesn't work and I was unable to get the convection oven working reliably either. My preference regarding clutter and prsonal belongings in airbnbs is that less is best and this property is definitely overly cluttered. The views were stunning and we thoroughly enjoying spotting plenty of migrating whales over the last week. Based on the way the property presented (not including the cleaning I agreed to) and the price, I would not book again.
