Daniels cottage was the most incredible winter & christmas escape for us! The accommodation is placed very remotely in the woods of finland. But the navigation with our phones was quite good though:) It was so silent, we heard nothing more than our footstep’s in the snow. His place had everything that we needed and even more. We traveled with our baby and he made sure that we also have a lot of baby stuff and toys. All in all it was a wonderful vacation and we definitely recommend a stay in his cottage over the winter season. But the summer there must be wonderful as well I think :)
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Es war so ruhig, dass man es kaum glauben konnte. Selbst die Natur war ruhig - absolute Stille. Der Wald war voller Beeren (Blaubeeren, Preiselbeeren) und Pilze. Der See ist zwar flach, aber voller Fische (Hechte, Zander) und hat eine gute Größe, um alles errudern zu können. Das Haus ist modern, alles was man braucht und noch mehr. Sauna und Hot Tub haben uns viel Freude bereitet.
We spent a month at WinterBay and really enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need. Daniel was responsive and helpful with our questions. The surroundings are peaceful. The sauna was great! We saw stunningly beautiful sunsets! We saw rabbits, squirrels, swans, and ducks. It’s a great place to unwind and enjoy nature… Our Midsummer experience was very impressive. We would love to come back.
Hyvin varusteltu moderni mökki rauhallisella sijainnilla. Järvi on harmillisen matala ja kivikkoinen uimista varten, mutta palju paikkasi tätä puutetta. Kaikki meni sujuvasti majoittajan kanssa.
We as a couple with a kid (1,5 years) had a great time in this lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings (located in the woods and directly at a lake). The host was very kind, helpfull and responded instantly to our questions (upfront and during our stay). He made sure that we had everything we needed for our kid including extra toys he could play with. Despite not being able to use the hot tub the preferred way (filling it with water from the lake) due to a broken pump hose, we had a wonderful 2-weeks stay and would highly recommend this place to others!
