It was a lovely stay
Wonderful place to stay. We had plenty of extra towels and wash cloths. Also appreciated the extra blankets! Very comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed listening to the creek flowing by!
We enjoyed the stay. It was very nice quiet and a pretty view of the creek and the wife loved watching the cows in the creek. Lol
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. After hectic days at the lake for boat races it was a peaceful place to come back to in the evenings. The surroundings are beautiful and it's nice seeing this piece of history being preserved!
This was the peaceful weekend we were looking for. We would happily stay again.

The 3000-acre Highlands Nature Sanctuary protects the Rocky Fork Gorge – a 100-foot high steep-walled canyon renowned for its stunning rock formations, ancient white cedars, and spectacular wildflower displays. Guests can enjoy over 15 miles of nature trails at the Sanctuary, and trails at many other Arc of Appalachia preserves within easy driving distance, including ancient American Indian earthworks such as Serpent Mound and Fort Hill.
