Second time we have stayed at Spring Brook and it still was great. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

The house offered a lot to do and gave everyone their own space, it didn't feel like we were all on top of each other and was super close to the Dells. There was a lot of stuff loosely repaired or broken but didn't really affect our stay. There was something very disgusting left in the garbage disposal that unfortunately left a smell in the main part of the house that lingered the entire weekend - When we called the front desk they were quick to send someone and did their best to clean it up but there was no getting rid of that smell. We left the cover on the garbage disposal all weekend and hoped for the best. The basement was also insanely dusty, there's a shuffle board table down there and it was almost as if someone took the powder for the shuffle board and poured it all over the bar. All in all, it was a great location with lots to offer - I would book again but would hope that the cleaning was a little more thorough.

We chose The Black Bear Lodge to host our Family Christmas. It was spacious, so we could all spread out yet the common areas were very inviting. We spent much of our time in the kitchen and playing pool downstairs. My favorite room was the Master Bedroom - we loved the tub and private bathroom! Easy check in and out. We would absolutely recommend!

Overall, the house was great! The check in process was super easy and there were plenty of activities for us to do as there were board games, a pool table, shuffle board, and an air hockey table. The basement did have a very strong musty smell which caused some allergies to flare up. The floors were not the cleanest so I would recommend bringing a pair of slippers to walk around in. The employees at the front desk were super friendly and helpful when we did need to communicate with them. Lastly, we loved how quiet the area was. Although the houses were close by, it still sounded like you were in a secluded get away!
