Breathtaking views and cozy cabin. Host was very responsive to us. It was a perfect getaway for our family. I highly recommend this place. We will be back in the future!

This is an absolutely beautiful gem, with stunning views of the lake, forest, and hills. The furniture and amenities are quite comfortable. We had plenty of space for our entire group. Scott was responsive and helpful during our stay. I just wish the weather had been better so we could've enjoyed the kayaks and hiking!

We really enjoyed our stay! Scott was very responsive to any requests we had, was very friendly and happy for us to explore the property and use their Jeep for the more difficult roads. The view was gorgeous and the cabin was very spacious. It’s a bit of a trek to get to any restaurants, but I think that’s to be expected when you want a more secluded location, and Scott was very helpful with recommendations. My family are also big pickleball fans, so we loved having a convenient place to play. There were some dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived but otherwise everything looked very clean. We also had fun taking the canoe out on the lake, and Scott took the time to make sure we got out there safely. This was our first stay through AirBnb, and I’m glad it was with such a thoughtful host.

The views were spectacular! The lodge was awesome. There were 10 of us, 4 adults, 5 teenagers and a 3 year old and there was enough room for everybody! Wish we didn't go in the middle of a heat wave because we would've loved to explore the surrounding trails a bit. We were able to find plenty to do though. The older boys loved that there was basketball! There were 5 kayaks that fit us so we were able to explore the beautiful lake. The dock was difficult to get to. The first day we were there the teen boys tried to walk down and 2 of them fell, 1 got pretty banged up, so after that we only would go down there with 4 wheel drive. The lake was very clean and peaceful. It's 8-11 feet almost all the way around. There's a park across the way that we kayaked to, that had an area that we could wade in the water. We were bummed that there wasn't enough water to see the waterfall flowing. Will have to plan better next time! Overall, everyone had a great time!

Our family of six enjoyed our stay! The kids especially loved the loft. Our youngest (7) didn’t want to leave. Gorgeous views, peaceful atmosphere and great host. The lodge itself has a nice vibe. - a cabin-y feel with clean, comfortable beds and lots of cool touches. Eating at Oark Cafe (upon Scott’s recommendation) was amazing. Seriously might be the best burger I’ve ever had. We loved swimming a Bluff’s Hole, part of Big Mulberry Creek. It has a nice rocky bottom and a large shallow area for little ones. We’re very interested to see what all Scott has in store for Horsehead Lake Lodge and would definitely consider staying again.
