I booked this place for my brother. He had a great time there. It was exactly what he needed. He reported that the place feels like a home away from home. The place was clean and very comfortable. He easily communicated with the host. Definitely want to come back and book this place again in the future.

If you need a safe place to stay on a budget, this is probably suitable. It’s close to Philly and the neighborhood seems safe, if a bit empty. We ended up cancelling our stay and getting a refund because the place had clearly not been cleaned in a while. It’s furnished with a mishmash of secondhand furniture, none of which is very comfortable. The “amenities” included in the bathroom amount to a single bottle of head n shoulders and a few mismatched towels. Generally it seems that only the barest minimum of effort to make the unit useable, and like I said it doesn’t appear to be cleaned very thoroughly or frequently. The host was at least polite and understanding about our refund request, which I appreciated. One less hassle to deal with.

11 pm Mon check-in. Stored clothes in bedroom dresser and a few on chairs. Then noticed top of dresser covered with tiny insects. Killed 12-15 but they kept coming. Infestation confined to dresser. Removed clothing to other rooms. After seeing bed OK slept fitfully moving between bed and living rm sofa. Tues worse as saw bugs on living rm walls. Wed texted host 06:40 to inform of infestation. At 07:10 host texted without apology or concern, saying he’d reimburse if I went to CVS and bought ant spray!! Later he texted he would spray if I gave a time window. I gave Wed 09:15-6:15 pm. I checked at 4 pm and it was sprayed, but the first two of my four days were ruined. Hence the 50% refund request. Checked out at 05:06 Fri without further incident.
